The sheet that shouldn't exist
Lumen · High school
Novoselov: graphene is a single flat hexagonal carbon sheet. Graphite is those sheets stacked. Buckyballs and nanotubes are wrapped or rolled. A free 2-D crystal was thought unstable at any real temperature. Peel graphite cold. A pencil already leaves the leftover thin flakes. Not CHEM-1. Not a lives-held unlock.
